The Florida International University Police Department (FIUPD) is proud to be a partner in the University’s commitment to providing an environment that fosters the goals of education and research. The FIUPD is committed to providing a safe environment that furthers these goals.

The Victim Empowerment Program’s (VEP) mission is to provide free confidential assistance to FIU students, faculty, staff and university visitors who have been victimized through threatened or actual violence and to support the healing process.

FIU Student Media combines Panther Press, a newspaper produced by undergraduate students, and The Roar, a student-run radio station. Panther Press is published Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays during the regular academic year and The Roar runs 24 hours, seven days a week.
