Want to go for a run under the warm Miami sun? Visit the jogging path located adjacent to Parkview Hall! The path borders the FIU Nature Preserve and has various outdoor exercise equipment along the way.

The FIU Nature Preserve is an 11-acre environmental education facility representing the Florida Everglades. The Nature Preserve represents three diverse ecosystems: Pine Rocklands, Tropical Hardwood Hammocks, and Freshwater Wetlands: all of which provide critically important habitat for the 13 endangered plant species and 15 threatened plant species, as well as the other 238 plant and animal species living there.

A reflexology path is a trail of soft stones, partially encased in the ground. As a person walks across, the rocks apply pressure to different areas in the soles of the feet.

The Student Well-being and Mental Health Services provides free, professional, and confidential personal counseling services exclusively for the HWCOM medical students. The SWMHS psychologists specialize in mental health, wellness, and issues relevant to medical student life. Enrolled students may receive counseling throughout their professional education and training.

MiResouce is for those students who would like connect with a clinician in the community, but may not know where to start. Whether it is identity preferences, insurance type, or mental health specialty area, MiResource creates a safe space for students to explore vetted clinicians with ease.
