Whether beginning or advanced, students may choose from a variety of ELI programs which cater to their particular needs. In each program, experienced faculty members emphasize intensive learning in intimate classroom settings and field trips. Along with language training, ELI offers a comprehensive introduction to American life.

Counseling and Psychological Services’ mission is to provide mental health services to students that will facilitate and enhance their personal learning, emotional well-being and academic skills development.

These 50-minute, live video-sessions are private, confidential, and can take place from the convenience of your laptop or smartphone.
Sessions are available during the day, at night, and on the weekends.

The Multi-faith Council is comprised of many religious organizations from different faith traditions. These organizations are devoted to their unique religious traditions, and together as a council, serve the FIU community. through a commitment to foster an atmosphere that both nurtures the intellectual dimensions of faith as well as encourages the spiritual dimensions of education.

The member organizations of the Multi-faith Council are all affiliated with nationally recognized religious bodies, and the leaders of Multi-faith Council organizations are professional staff (clergy or laity).
